Our Story

Nelmor Designs, LLC is a family owned (Andre & Sonya Nelson), full service web design company focusing on church, non-profit and small business websites.

Our journey into this industry started in 2007 when our pastor asked us to start a website for the church.  Having no web design skills of our own, Sonya and I began to search for a developer that would design a site, host it, and make updates for the church.  The cost was astronomical at the time just for the design, not to mention all the hoops we had to deal with to make and pay for an update.  Our church just could not afford it.  So we went online and found a hosting company that said we could build a site with NO CODING KNOWLEDGE.

“Challenge Excepted”

We selected a plan, purchased a template, and bugged the help desk team until we finally had a site up and running.  As time went on and our skills grew from learning HTML, CSS, SQL, etc., we began to develop new features to the church site.  Then one day in 2012, a pastor of one of our sister churches asked if we could design a site for a ministry he was starting.  Like our church, he did not have a lot of money to have a quality website designed and hosted; but he saw and understood the need to be online.

Once his site was up and running, Sonya and I received as much joy as he did.  But we also saw there was a need to help small churches to get online with a quality site at an affordable price.  So in 2013, formally started Nelmor Designs, LLC.

Most small churches, local non-profits and small businesses don’t have a lot of updates and can’t afford a fulltime webmaster.  That’s were we come in.  Nelmor Designs will not only design a professional, fully responsive website, but will also host it, and perform updates for you at no extra cost.  Our design fee is a one-time charge and after that you only have an annual renewal fee that covers the domain registration, website security and updates.

Our Web Design Process

1) The First Move Is Yours

Give us a call or send an email to set up a phone/Zoom meeting.

2) Gather Requirements

During our initial conversation, we will learn what you are looking for and see if we can help you achive your goals.

3) Look Before You Pay

Unlike most web designers, we build you a site with “dummy” information.  We only move forward if you like the look and feel of the site.

4) Develop Site

After you calm down from seeing the awesome site during step 3, you pay the one-time design fee.  Once received, we both get to work; me on the design and you collecting content.

5) Go Live

Once we’ve met all of your expectations and approve the site, we launch your site into the world wide web!!!

6) We're Family Now!

Nelmor Designs will not create a site and then leave you to host, monitor or update your site (unless you want).  Our annual update fee covers all of that.  We are now you Web Department!
